Twitter, the application of the little bird; is one of the most used social networks in the world, where each user can express themselves through one or several tweets.
Twitter has implemented many functions over the years to improve the application. The latest novelty is the new way to inform users that their account has been suspended.
Twitter introduces suspension notices
Also, the social network will inform users if their account has been suspended or blocked with a new notification format; which will appear as soon as they log in that will include more context, such as what they can do in that situation.
When a user violates any of the platform’s policies, Twitter will automatically suspend the account temporarily or permanently; so that they can only access their account in a read mode, without performing any action on it.
This as part of a test that seeks to notify affected users of this situation; the company has introduced a ‘banner’ at the top of the account that appears as soon as you log in, as the company explained on its platform.
This ‘banner’ informs of the type of suspension, whether it is temporary or permanent, and link to the reasons that have led to it. It also explained what the read-only mode entails, in which it leaves the user and even leads to the option to complain, in the case of permanent suspension.
